Have you ever lost a thought
And felt somewhat distraught
You tried to recall and sought
But all efforts came to naught
Does the thought hide in space
Does it escape to another place
Does it fly and search in circles
For a better mind who recycles
Sure you’ve sometimes fought
To recall lost trains of thoughts
I wondered when thoughts fled
If they escaped to another head
